I am glad for last week's beautiful weather and having had the chance to see the beach plum in bloom at our lighthouse on the north end of our island.

Wow, I didn't even know there was such a thing as "Beach Plum". Can you eat it? :-) Does it smell like plums?
Is it purple? Looks white in the photo.....
