MY LAST COLORADO SUMMER PICTURES FOR THIS YEAR

Our time in Crested Butte this summer would not be complete without posting a photo of one of my favorite flowers.

The Fireweed was in full bloom while we were there, these were near our town hall, a short walk from our home.

Red Lady Bowl on Mt Emmons is a fitting backdrop for the wide variety of wildflowers growing there.

A walk along the Upper Loop that circles Mt Crested Butte gives another, closer view of Mt Emmons with Mountain Sage in the foreground.

The Loop path, which passes through meadows, Aspen forests and an area of house size boulders that years ago fell from the Mountain above is a prefect place for walking and biking.

The scenery varies along the way, but is always beautiful.
